Set yourself a swimming challenge…
- The Henley Swim
This series of swimming events is held over the summer months on the Henley Royal Regatta course, in one of the most famous and beautiful stretches of open water. If you are up for an endurance swim, after some family friendly water activity or up to a time challenge then why not consider taking part one of the following events while rasing money for Scannappeal.
- The Henley Classic.
The Henley Classic is a 2.1 km endurance upstream event held over the Henley Royal Regatta course. Its a celebration of summer and provides a unique opportunity to swim in this stretch of water at dawn.
- The Henley Mile.
The Henley Mile is a straight line downstream family swimming event. It features a number of distance options for all ages and abilities including mile, half mile and 200m.
- Club to Pub.
A summer 1.5km evening swim taking place in the heart of Henley. Starting from Henley Rowing Club, and finishing at the Historic Angel on the Bridge. The swim’s challenge is to complete the course within the hour and before the chiming of the clock tower bells.
- Thames Marathon. Sunday 7 August 2016. Serious long distance challenge, the swimming equivalent of a marathon. 14km downstream from Henley to Marlow. Age 18+

- Prudential Ride London 100 2017
Are you a cycling enthusiast looking for your next challenge? Is 2017 the year that you are getting on your bike? The the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 might be the event for you. Starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the 100 mile route on closed roads through the capital then continues into Surrey’s stunning countryside and finishes on The Mall in central London. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.

Scannappeal SkyDive 2017!
If you’re up for a thrilling challenge then our Scannappeal Skydive could be just what you’re looking for.
This sponsored 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump is held at Brackley Airfield (15 miles north of Oxford).
Our information pack has everything you need including your reservation and sponsorship forms and we’ve made everything as easy as possible for you to take part.
All we ask is that you to raise £395 in sponsorship money in order for you to jump for free and in turn we will receive an average donation of £140. In addition to this, every extra pound that you raise over the minimum comes straight to the charity, so please try to raise as much as you possibly can!
This challenge event is possible thanks to professional events organisers Skyline who receive a flat rate per jumper for organising the jumps for us. Skyline specialise in organising fundraising events for charities such as ourselves so if you have any questions please ring them directly as they are in the best position to answer your questions – you can contact them on 020 7424 5522.
We sincerely hope that you will decide to give it a go and help us raise vital funds in order to continue our work.
