A huge WELL-DONE to all Eight of our brave Scannappeal team who took to the skies to jump out of a plane from 13,000 feet at Brackley Airfield in Hinton on Saturday 16 July.
Our very own Hilary Colgan along with Sam Evans & Sarah Hicks (Amersham Audiology) Sandra Easden (PA to Breast Consultant Giles Cunnick) Pearl Howlett & Isabel Clark (Scanna volunteers) and Chris Croft & Louisa Brown (Father & daughter Scanna supporters) have raised with your help over £6,000 for Scannappeal. Our thanks also go to everyone who supported them in their stomach-churning challenge!
Sam says “It was the most amazing experience of a lifetime and all for a wonderful cause that means so much to all the staff and patients of Bucks Healthcare NHS” Pearl told us it was “The most brilliant experience EVER!”
Chris and Louisa wanted to show their appreciation of Scannappeal’s fundraising after his wife benefitted from the latest Digital Breast Screening technology. They said “ We are very grateful to have this local charity which is in the forefront of providing equipment used within the NHS. The skydive was a fantastic experience and I am so glad Scannappeal gave us the opportunity for the thrill of a lifetime!”
