RECYCLE TO RAISE FUNDS !
Why not de-clutter and help Scannappeal raise money to help local patients?  If you have unwanted items, there are numerous ways that these can be converted into cash. 
Except where indicated, goods can be dropped off to the Scannappeal office or bookshop on the ground floor at Amersham Hospital (building entrance D) Monday - Thursday or, for some areas it may be possible to arrange for a volunteer to collect items.

Calling all bookworms!
Our bookshop at Amersham Hospital is open from Monday-Thursday, 9.30am-3.00pm.
Good quality second-hand books, particularly paperback fiction, and jigsaw puzzles.  Come and browse our fabulous selection to re-stock your bookshelves!

Donate your discs!
Do you have any CDs, DVDs or computer games that are just gathering dust?  We are looking for original discs (i.e. ones with the barcodes on the case,) regardless of condition, as long as sleeve notes are included. 

Have a wardobe workout!
If you have items of ladies clothing that are hardly worn, sell them at or Frugal Fashion events (50/50 split).  Up to five items of clothing, which should be clean, in good order and on hangers, can be entered in the sale.  Details wil be registered and a price agreed in advance with you.
Evening and party wear:  registering items - 2-4 November, event - 5 November
Spring and summer wear: registering items - 26-28 April, event - 29 April

Toner cartridges and mobile phones
Scannappeal works with The Paperchain Partnership, to recycle empty printer cartridges and old mobile phones.  By recycling your used printer cartridges and mobile phones you can protect the environment and raise funds.  Laser and ink jet cartridges and unwanted phones can be left at the Scannappeal Office or, if you are a local business, Paperchain will collect them free of charge from your premises - for further information please call Liz at Paperchain on 01494 539 000.

Gently used goods
Unwanted items of yours could be just what someone else is looking for.  These can be sold at our stalls, held regularly at local hospitals.  See our current list of stalls HERE
