GIVE THE GIFT OF GOOD HEALTH TO LOCAL PATIENTS
Your legacy could save lives
Gifts in wills are extremely important to the work we do at Scannappeal, providing life-saving equipment for local hospitals. In recent years over 100,000 local patients have benefited from equipment that has been funded this way, including:
* a specialist scanner for babies and children with heart and brain problems
* advanced echocardiography equipment to improve the detection and treatment of heart disease
* a laser to treat men with advanced prostate cancer
You can choose where you want your money to be spent - it can go to a specific hospital or clinical area that is important to you. Our Trustees, who work independently of the NHS, will ensure it is spent entirely on advanced medical equipment and in accordance with your wishes.
‘My family and myself have had so much help from the equipment that Scannappeal has funded that we wanted to give something back’
Mr H, a Scannappeal supporter
£1,000 could provide a specialist probe for one of the scanners to help identify the precise location of cancer tumours.
£5,000 could provide an advanced monitor for a patient with cardiac disease.
£10,000 could provide a colonoscope or cystoscope to investigate potential tumours.
£20,000 could provide a specialist ultrasound machine.
When you do make or update your will, please consider leaving a gift to Scannappeal.
