BLACK AND WHITE BALL

Friday 7 November, 7.15pm-1.00am
Latimer Place, Latimer, nr Little Chalfont

Scannappeal’s biannual ball with champagne reception, live band, entertainment, casino and silver-service dinner. Hosted by Andy and Steve from Mix 107’s breakfast show. Tables of eight, parties of four or less seated with similar size groups.

LADIES EVENING

Wednesday 26 November, 7.00pm
Adams Park, High Wycombe

Re-vamp your wardrobe in time for Christmas or make the most of your existing wardrobe with our fashion advisers, have a taster session with one of our beauty therapists or indulge in some early Christmas shopping from a great selection of stalls.  Light suppers available.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Tuesday 2 December, 8.00pm
St Mary’s Church, Old Amersham

Start Christmas early with Scannappeal at our annual concert in the beautiful setting of St Mary’s Church, Old Amersham. Enjoy festive readings, carols and music from the High Wycombe Music Centre, The Beacon Voices, SV2G Steel Band, a soprano and talented young musicians from the Amersham area. Always a sell-out event, so book early!

SPONSORED SLIM

Starts Monday 12 January / finishes Monday 2 March
Loose those Christmas pounds and raise ££££’s for Scannappeal in our third, annual sponsored slim. Last year our group of slimmers lost 430 lbs and raised £5000 leaving everyone happier and healthier in the new year! Regular fitness and dietary tips will be available from local health “guru” Sarah Living of ‘Walking for Weight Loss’, to help you obtain your goal!

CHANNEL CHALLENGE

Starts Monday 19 January for a total of 12 weeks
Why not give yourself the satisfaction of swimming the length of the English Channel but without having to endure the cold or negotiating the busiest shipping lanes in the world! You have 12 weeks to complete the required distance of 21 miles (approx. 1,344 lengths!), which you can complete in as many visits to local pools as you want. On successful completion of the Channel Challenge, each participant will receive a certificate along with the satisfaction of raising money for a worthwhile cause.

SCOTTISH EVENING

After all the bustle of Christmas, why not treat yourself to a night out in the New Year!  Celebrate in true Scottish style with a traditional Burns Night supper and dancing led by a professional caller.

WYCOMBE ORPHEUS MALE VOICE CHOIR

Start your day with Steve from the Mix 107 FM Big Fun Breakfast! Steve could be visiting YOU to report live on how you are helping Scannappeal. Organise fundraising at work, or with friends, by using a blue colour theme (Scannnnappeal’s colour.) We can help with ideas for fundraising activities. Or can you double our money? Steve will deliver £50 to you, but can you double it in the following four weeks?

MURDER MYSTERY EVENING

Friday 15 May, 7.30pm
Chalfont St Giles Memorial Hall

Can your table solve the crime?  Witness a dramatic murder performed by Teatro Unfortunato, examine the evidence and question “suspects” over a two-course meal.  Winning table gets a prize.  Tables of eight people, smaller parties will be grouped together to make up a table.
