An exclusive invitation to explore this truly magical and very surprising garden. The art world’s Messum family have spent 40 years creating 2.5 acres of beautifully cultivated gardens on their 40 acre estate. Whether you are in the herb garden or beside the rose border, in the dahlia garden or in the wild meadow filled with June orchids, you will see, crouching, peeping out, or towering above the foliage, stunning works of art which make this garden unique. Guests also have an exclusive opportunity to visit The Studio at Lord’s Wood, which houses some of the Messum’s artwork. Music will be provided by Allsorts.
Directions: At the top of Marlow High Street take Henley Road, but turn right at Platts Garage up Oxford Road/Chalkpit Lane. Continue on this road ascending a hill, high banks on both sides, for 1.5 miles. Pass Royal Oak Pub on left. Go past a turning to Bovingdon Green and another to Marlow common. 100 yards from that last turning, opposite a sign saying Valley View Stables, turn left down the bridlepath towards Lord’s Wood. Pass the first white gate and park on the verge.
Parking: Ample space on the owners verges.
