Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has been ranked as one of the UK’s top hospitals for the very first time. The accolade is awarded on safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care by health intelligence specialists CHKS.
The award recognising some of the best performing CHKS client trusts across the UK, was presented at a ceremony in London on 19 May. Representing the Trust, chief executive Neil Dardis and chief nurse Carolyn Morrice attended the ceremony to collect the award.
Chief executive Neil Dardis said: “I am delighted that our Trust has received this accolade. It’s a first for us but I hope not the last, because I can see how hard staff from across our Trust work to ensure we deliver on our promise and provide patients with safe and compassionate care every time. Thank you for all your efforts – this award is for you.”
